SIRTF CTA is lifted into the 'Brutus' test chamber

The SIRTF cryogenic telescope assembly (CTA) is lifted into the 'Brutus' test chamber at Ball Aerospace in Boulder, Colorado prior to testing. Within the large thermal vacuum chamber, the CTA is undergoing a series of end-to-end tests at operating temperatures near absolute zero.
